Blame Beverly
Cooking is not my favorite thing to do. My creative juices flow in writing, joking, and painting. I always had to cook because we were a family of eight, with my husband and our six children. I never really knew if I was a good cook or not, because my family always ate everything I served. There were seldom any leftovers. But I do know that I’ve had several disasters. The more ingredients in the recipe, the more chance for a flop. That’s why this cookbook is so valuable because the recipes and instructions guide you through the eating process with ease.
Beverly, but you can call me Gramma
Just one millennial’s attempt at finding a way to connect with her grandmother and keep her laughing in a time of social distancing and quarantine, all while spreading a little joy to anyone who might enjoy our silly stupidity enough to laugh.
I don’t cook, but I eat well, thanks to my husband. It’s purely comical that I would be the first one in my family to co-write a “cookbook,” and I hope y’all get as much of a laugh out of that as the actual book/blog. I’ll be honest though, if the only two people to laugh are the two of us, I’ll still consider it a win.
Be well. Eat well.
